Today, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov visited Kazan Federal University. The purpose of the visit was to explore the possibility of cooperation and the application of scientific developments of the university in agriculture.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan together with scientists from TatNIISH prepared the tips for gardeners planting fruit trees.

Rains have made changes in the plans of agricultural workers. Field work had to be suspended. But, despite the changes of nature, sowing work in Tatarstan continues. The farmers of the republic try not to miss a single hour of the fine days of spring.

The Russian Ministry of Agriculture held meetings, dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of agricultural producers in the context of the coronavirus epidemic. The Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, head of the Main Directorate of Veterinary Medicine of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan - Chief State Veterinary Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Khisamutdinov, took part in the event, which was held by videoconference by the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Dzhambulat Khatuov, Office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Republic of Tatarstan Lyubov Avdonina and heads of agricultural enterprises of the republic.

Scientists at TatNIIKhS believe that no barley plant protection measure has such a high return on investment and effectiveness as seed dressing, since more than 60% of phytopathogens are transmitted through seeds. Sowing with infected seeds leads to the transfer of diseases to vegetative plants and thereby creates and maintains foci of infection in crops.

The most successful managers know this, because it is impossible to effectively monitor, analyze and manage all livestock production processes on the farm without automated accounting, without which the head of the enterprise is “blind” and does not control the process on the farm, but turns into a team leader involved in the process.

The agricultural enterprises of Tatarstan do not stop working during the coronavirus infection pandemic and began to deliver products to the hospitals of Kazan. One of the first such assistance was provided by the Mamadysh factory "Alphabet of cheese".

First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Jambulat Khatuov held a meeting on the development of the seed industry in the context of the coronavirus pandemic. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, Director of the Tatar Research Institute of Agriculture of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences Marcel Tagirov, Head of the FSBI State Commission Branch for RT Vitaly Novichkov, Deputy Head of the Branch of FSBI Rosselkhoztsentr for RT Rafis Khabibullin, General Director of Kazan Agrochem LLC Rustem Kalimullin and regional representative of KBC Alex Ziganshin.

Tatarstan is the country’s leader in terms of dairy farming, farms produce more than 6% of the total Russian milk volume.
