On Saturday October 26, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites residents of the republic to purchase agricultural products at affordable prices at fairs in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and in the village of Oktyabrsky Zelenodolsky District (the Novaya Tura trade fair complex). Citizens will be able to purchase meat, sausage products, draft milk, cheese, butter, eggs, vegetables, honey, sugar, flour, cereals and other farm products brought from the municipal regions of Tatarstan at affordable prices.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan took the first place in the rating of agribusiness management bodies for the 3rd quarter of 2019 and was recognized as the best in Russia in terms of media coverage of key events and industry development priorities. The indicators are calculated by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia on the basis of independent data of the Medialogia company.

On October 24, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a public hearing on the results of the law enforcement practice of the Departments for the third quarter of this year. On October 22, RT Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov met in Moscow with Danone Russia General Director Charlie Cappetti, vice president of fresh dairy products in Russia, the CIS, Turkey and the Middle East.

According to operational data from the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, as of October 14, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations amounted to 44.4 thousand tons, which is 7.8% more than the same period last year (in 2018 - 41.2 thousand tons).

In the agricultural enterprises of Tatarstan, the volume of daily milk sales increased by 6%. According to operational data as of October 21, 3 thousand 483.4 tons of milk were produced in the republic’s farms per day, which is 5% higher than the figure for the same date last year.
