Tatarstan farmers increased daily milk sales by 6%

In the agricultural enterprises of Tatarstan, the volume of daily milk sales increased by 6%. According to operational data as of October 21, 3 thousand 483.4 tons of milk were produced in the republic’s farms per day, which is 5% higher than the figure for the same date last year.

“At the same time, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural enterprises reached 3 thousand 282.4 thousand tons. This is 199.8 tons or 6% more than the corresponding figure of last year, ”said Irek Gibadullin, deputy head of the department for the development of livestock industries of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

According to him, there has been an increase in daily volumes of milk sold in personal subsidiary plots of citizens. Thus, the owners of private farmsteads handed over to milk collectors 671.2 tons of milk per day - this is 101% of the previous year.

In the republic, Kukmorsky district is the leader in the sale of milk by agricultural enterprises, where its daily volume as of October 21 is 252 tons. Atninsky district with 228.9 tons is the second in this indicator, Baltasinsky district with 217.4 tons takes the third place.

“The sale of milk is a reliable and stable source of income for agricultural enterprises of the republic. Therefore, much attention is paid to increasing milk production, ”said Gibadullin.

In addition, he added that today in Tatarstan, coarse and succulent feed for the livestock industry in amount of 1 million 620 thousand tons of feed units were harvested, (28.2 kg of feed units per conditional livestock). This is more than it was procured a year earlier: indicators for the same date of 2018 were1 million 543.2 thousand tons and 26.4 centners of feed units, respectively.
