Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites citizens to agricultural fairs
On Saturday October 26, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites residents of the republic to purchase agricultural products at affordable prices at fairs in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and in the village of Oktyabrsky Zelenodolsky District (the Novaya Tura trade fair complex). Citizens will be able to purchase meat, sausage products, draft milk, cheese, butter, eggs, vegetables, honey, sugar, flour, cereals and other farm products brought from the municipal regions of Tatarstan at affordable prices.
Recall that the autumn fairs started on September 14 and will be held weekly until the New Year. The assortment at various sites has its own characteristics, and is tailored to the needs of residents. For example, at the last fair on Yamasheva street, you could buy fresh fragrant raspberries grown by a farmer from the Kaybitsky district. On Victory Avenue Zelenodolsky champignons were snapped, and in the Agropark you could even buy chickens, geese and rabbits of different breeds for breeding. Agricultural fairs are traditionally enjoyed by citizens, especially the older generation, in good demand and are of great social importance. According to the results of the 5 spring and 6 autumn fairs of 2019, in the cities of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Zelenodolsk municipal district of Tatarstan, products were imported and sold for a total amount of 646.4 million rubles. Citizens purchased 960 tons of meat, 238.5 tons of draft milk, 5 million eggs, 410.5 tons of flour and 508.7 tons of granulated sugar.
Last week, the price of buckwheat increased. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reminds that groats are sold at fairs at a price of 30 rubles per kilogram. Price increases are not planned.
By tradition, the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan on Saturday will personally inspect the fairgrounds in Kazan.
