First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Jambulat Khatuov held a meeting on the development of the seed industry in the context of the coronavirus pandemic. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, Director of the Tatar Research Institute of Agriculture of the Russian Academy of Agricultural Sciences Marcel Tagirov, Head of the FSBI State Commission Branch for RT Vitaly Novichkov, Deputy Head of the Branch of FSBI Rosselkhoztsentr for RT Rafis Khabibullin, General Director of Kazan Agrochem LLC Rustem Kalimullin and regional representative of KBC Alex Ziganshin.

Tatarstan is the country’s leader in terms of dairy farming, farms produce more than 6% of the total Russian milk volume.

Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov held a video meeting with the heads of municipalities and heads of agricultural departments of the republic. The topic of discussion was increasing the efficiency of agricultural production and measures for the smooth functioning of the agricultural complex of Tatarstan in the pandemic.

Much attention is paid to the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the agribusiness in Tatarstan. The National Project "Development of Small and Medium Enterprises" is being implemented. Today in every district there are people who have started their business with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. One of them is Bulat Galyautdinov from the village of Yambukhtino of the Spassky district. In 2016, he received a 1.5 million rubles grant under the republican program “Beginner Farmer” for growing grain crops.

The meeting on preparations for the beginning of the summer season in the Republic of Tatarstan was held today by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. In connection with the sanitary-epidemiological situation, the meeting was held in videoconference mode.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the most important task is to provide the population with food and essential goods. Therefore, JSC "Agricultural Park" Kazan " continues its functioning. On weekdays, its doors are open from 8:00 to 19:00, and on weekends from 7:00 to 18:00. But Monday is still a sanitary day.

On April 20, the Nizhnekamsk district reached the line of 100 tons of daily milk production.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan announces the acceptance of documents for the competitive selection for grants to beginner farmers. The maximum grant amount will be 5 million rubles. A mandatory requirement is a peasant (farm) economy which is created recently (not more than 2 years ago).
