Measures to ensure the smooth operation of livestock and processing enterprises were outlined

Today, the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dzhambulat Khatuov held a meeting dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of livestock and processing enterprises taking into consideration the coronavirus epidemic. Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov took part in the event via videoconference.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia emphasized that the executive authorities, together with the heads of agricultural organizations, in order to prevent coronavirus infection, were recommended to take measures aimed at ensuring the continuous operation of enterprises. In particular, it is necessary to create a reserve of labor resources, to divide workers in shifts into two or more groups, limit their intersections and reduce contacts, minimize the number of employees in a shift and provide several options for work schedules in case of the introduction of a quarantine regime. In addition, it is necessary to prepare additional shift workers for each working profession and provide measures for monitoring the state of health of employees of enterprises. According to the First Deputy Minister, processing enterprises are under special control, where a large number of people concentrated in one shift.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, in turn, brought to the agricultural enterprises the recommendations of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-being on the organization of the work of agricultural enterprises in the spreading risks of “COVID-19”.

The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan noted that for the successful completion of spring field work first of all, people's health is important.

“In this situation, to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, we have taken a set of measures for the smooth functioning of the agro-industrial complex. The provision of the population with food allows us to understand how effective these measures and prevention regimes are,” said Marat Zyabbarov earlier.

The event participants also discussed the staffing of the industry, interaction with employment services, as well as the organization of medical examinations of employees. According to the results of the meeting, it was recommended that the heads of agricultural enterprises form personnel reserves, while taking measures to prevent and combat coronavirus infection, take into account the need to use disinfectants that are approved for use and also ensure their sufficient supply.
