The meeting on preparations for the beginning of the summer season in the Republic of Tatarstan was held today by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. In connection with the sanitary-epidemiological situation, the meeting was held in videoconference mode.
During the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded: today in the Republic of Tatarstan, in 23 municipalities, 950 horticultural and vegetable garden partnerships (SNT), including 381 thousand garden plots, were registered. According to him, given that there are at least three people on each site, this is already about 1 million Tatarstanians.
Since 2013, the Tatarstan Gardeners Union has been operating.
In general, they work to bring the external engineering infrastructure of horticultural partnerships into a normative state, Rustam Minnikhanov recalled. Since 2017, more than 500 million rubles are allocated annually for these purposes. Thus, over three years of work, 1 billion 650 million rubles were financed. This made it possible to install 151 water towers, repair 83 wells, lay 26 km of water supply, and restore 359 sites for the collection and removal of solid waste. In addition, 92 km of access roads were repaired, 116 km of power lines and 118 complete transformer substations were established.
This year, despite difficult economic conditions, this work will be continued, Rustam Minnikhanov assured that allocation of 500 million rubles has been provided.
Since 2018, on the terms of co-financing, horticultural societies were provided with support for the repair of their internal engineering networks. For each ruble contributed by the gardener, 2 rubles are allocated from the budget of Tatarstan. Thanks to this mechanism, in 2018-2019, 13 km of internal alleys, over 120 km of power lines, and about 44 km of water supply were repaired. The most active participants in the program were gardeners of Kazan and Tukaevsky district.
In the current epidemiological situation, Rustam Minnikhanov urged gardeners to be attentive to their health, to observe all precautions in the fight against coronavirus infection.
Chairman of the Union of Tatarstan Gardeners Vladimir Deinekin thanked the leadership of the republic for supporting gardeners. He also recalled that there are more than 900 horticultural and gardening partnerships in the republic, and now an association of wine growers of the Republic of Tatarstan is being created.
During the online meeting, representatives of horticultural partnerships asked their questions, in particular, regarding inventory and balancing roads with gravel (repaired at the expense of the republican budget), the quality of cellular coverage of sparsely populated areas and horticultural societies (for seasonal residence ), on payment by gardeners of services for the export of MSW, etc.
