The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that the all-Russian public movement "PEOPLE'S FRONT" and the all-Russian youth public organization "Russian Union of Rural Youth " are holding the All-Russian network action " FEAT OF the VILLAGE: Heroes of Labor", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of honoring a person of labor in Russia. Any citizen of the Russian Federation can take part in it. Winners will be awarded with diplomas, honorary insignia of the Second World War "Labor Valor of Russia" and memorable gifts.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that specialists of the branch of the Russian Agricultural Center for the Republic of Tatarstan have prepared recommendations for growing vegetable crops on school plots and in private subsidiary farms.

It was announced by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov during a zonal seminar – meeting in Nurlat district.  The seminar was conducted by the Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin.

This week, competitions on the readiness of forage harvesting equipment and forage storage facilities for the 2021 season are being held in regions of Tatarstan. The commission headed by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Garipov and head of the regional agricultural administration Albert Sharipov evaluated the preparation of agricultural formations of the Sarmanovsky district.

In the fields of the republic, forage harvesting works have begun. This is a hot time for agricultural producers, because the quality of feed will depend on the income of enterprises for the whole year.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that the association "Elite Seeds of Tatarstan" together with LLC "NPI "Biopreparaty" and Agro-Alliance RIA provide optimal recommendations for the comprehensive protection of agricultural crops during the growing season in conditions of abnormal heat, acute atmospheric and soil drought.

In Baltasinsky district, the 38th district competition of machine milking masters and the 14th district competition of artificial insemination operators of cattle were held.

The August-Agro Management Company is building grain cleaning and drying complexes in Kamsko-Ustinsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Leninogorsky and Tyulyachinsky districts . The facilities will ensure the cleanliness and safety of grain of agricultural firms.

Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting with the council of veterans of the agro-industrial complex of the Aznakaevsky district. The event was attended by First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Agro-industrial Complex of the Republic of Tatarstan Mars Aliyev, General Director of the association elite seeds of Tatarstan Yuri Erov and other responsible persons.

Last week, abnormally hot weather was established on the territory of the republic. A temperature record for the last 100 years has been broken. Abnormally hot, windy weather, according to the Hydrometeorological Service, seriously dried up the soil. Moisture in the meter layer is from 120 to 160 mm, and in the arable land - 19 - 27 mm. Meteorologists predict a shortage of precipitation.
