Sugar beet harvesting has started in Zainsky district

Agrarians of the Zainsky municipal district have started harvesting sugar beet. The farmers of the agricultural firms "Zai" and "Vostok" were the first to clean up. 76 hectares of sugar beet were harvested during the day. The yield is 230 quintals per hectare.

There are 10 combines working in the fields, all of them are led by two experienced machine operators, they work in one shift until September 1. The digging is carried out according to the schedule of delivery of sugar beet to the processing plant.

On the same day, the Zainsky Sugar Plant began accepting beets. 900 tons of sweet root crops were delivered during a day. The sugar content of the fruit is more than 19%.
