A new educational project "School of a young farmer", implemented by the Rosselkhoznadzor and Kazan State Agrarian University, was presented to President Rustam Minnikhanov at the Aktanysh Technological Technical School. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rafael Fattakhov, Rector of the Kazan Agrarian University Airat Valiev and Director of the Tatarstan regional branch of the Rosselkhoznadzor Lyalya Kudermetova.
The participants of the "Young Farmer's School" were students of the Aktanysh Technological Technical School, who will take theoretical and practical classes on dairy and meat cattle breeding and poultry farming. Theoretical classes and practical field lessons are provided for them on successful farms of the Aktanyshsky and nearby districts. Students will study the skills of farming from scratch and before the launch of the project, in particular, they will study the financial and legal aspects of doing business, product certification, drawing up a business project, as well as support measures.
The "Young Farmer's School" is a project that allows young people to develop the skills and competencies necessary for farmers from a young age, which is why this practice should be replicated at other technical schools, " said Rustam Minnikhanov.
"Students are an ambitious, active and purposeful group of people who are noticeably quickly mastering new skills and directions. That is why it was decided to launch the project "School of a young farmer" in the republic for the development of young farmers, " the developers noted.
