The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan discussed bilateral cooperation with Turkey

A meeting with a delegation from Turkey was held at the site of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Tatarstan was represented at the event by First Deputy Minister Nail Zalakov, General Director of JSC "Ratsin " Denis Samodurov and head of the project for the export of Halal products Rustem Gainullov. The Turkish side was represented by: Mustafa Tutar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AKSU Enerji, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Issparta Chamber of Commerce and Industry Osman Shanlan, Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ysparta, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Şanlanlar Gıda, and Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ysparta, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bara Kozmetik Ahmet Kabalak and others. During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of cooperation.

During the meeting, Nail Zalakov stressed that the export of agricultural products of the Republic of Tatarstan to the Republic of Turkey by the end of 2020 amounted to US $ 51.1 million. The main share of exports, 99.1%, is sunflower oil. Sweet dry cookies take the second place in terms of export of products. According to the customs service, the import of Turkish products consists of fruits and vegetables in the amount of 1.2 million US dollars.

At the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to cooperate in the supply of fish and fish products, seedlings and equipment for vegetable storage warehouses.
