The Center for Agroecological Research of the Kazan State Agrarian University is included in the list of accredited subjects as a testing laboratory. It means that the competence of the Center as a testing laboratory is officially recognized and meets the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 "General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories".
The Center for Agroecological Research carries out activities in the field of quality control of grain and seed material, as well as quality control of animal feed and honey. Within the scope of the accreditation of the Center for Agroecological Research, such analyses are carried out as:
- assessment of the quality of grain and its processed products: humidity, the mass fraction of raw gluten and the quality of gluten in wheat, vitreousness, and more.
- assessment of the quality of seed material of agricultural crops: purity and waste of seeds, germination, germination energy, viability, and more.
- assessment of feed quality: the content of dry matter, crude protein, crude fat, etc.
- evaluation of the quality of honey: biochemical parameters, determination of botanical origin.
The scientific leadership of the Center is headed by Professor, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Safin.
