The competitive selection of projects for the Agrostartup grant has been completed in the republic. A total of 152 applications were submitted, including 6 individual entrepreneurs registered this year.
From this number, the competition commission selected 60 cost-effective projects that will soon produce agricultural products and create the largest number of jobs in the year of receiving the grant.
The priority direction is dairy farming. In this category, 24 people won – the total amount of support for them will make up 73 million rubles. 22 people were selected in the direction of fattening cattle. Their projects are estimated at more than 66 million rubles. Sheep breeding, horse breeding, poultry farming, vegetable growing, fish production, growing berry, fruit and grain crops are also popular.
For 2021, 160 million rubles are provided within this program, it was enough for only 60 applicants who scored the highest number of points.
The selection procedure is clear and transparent. Within 30 days after the announcement of the competition, applications are accepted in a sealed form. At the meeting of the expert commission, the envelopes are printed and the initial assessment of the requirements of the tender documentation is given.
"Based on this, the expert commission makes a recommendation to the competition commission, which evaluates the applicant's business qualities. Each member of the competition commission gives an objective assessment of the projects, bias is excluded here. We are very sorry that good projects are not selected and we believe that the funds allocated under this program are not enough, " Deputy Minister Rishat Khabipov shared his opinion.
