The President of Tatarstan met with representatives of the agro-industrial complex of the Laishevsky district
Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan-Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov met today with representatives of the agro - industrial complex of the Laishevsky district. The meeting was held in the village of Stolbyshche at the site of the new DoorHan plant.
The meeting was attended by heads of agricultural enterprises and heads of settlements of the district. During the conversation, the President focused on the topic of providing personal farmsteads with the necessary feed, and also noted the need to increase the number of livestock. He stressed that Laishevsky district farmers have a serious competitive advantage: Kazan is located nearby - a huge market for agricultural products, especially milk.
During the meeting, the head of one of the district farms addressed the President. There is no paved road in the village of Meretyaki, where the farm is located. Today, the farm contains 100 heads of cattle. There are plans to build 2 more cowsheds for 300 animals. However, the road problem makes it difficult for farmers to work.
Rustam Minnikhanov promised to help workers of the village, noting that farms especially deserve support. "We will help you. We are interested in developing not only large farms, but also small farms, which are often more sustainable," the President of the Republic of Tatarstan added.
