According to May 8, the sowing has been carried out on 639,700 ha (37%) in the republic. 27,800 ha (49%) have been sowed with sugar beet, 6,700 ha (7%) – with rape, 478,100 ha (45%) – with spring crops where 291,500 ha (73%) have been sowed with barley (73%), 90,100 ha with wheat (19%) and 33,400 ha with peas (54%).
