In Tatarstan 319,700 ha have been sowed with spring crops

According to the recent data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the spring sowing campaign is being carried out in all districts of the republic. 319,700 ha has been sowed (19%).

By the current date 29,200 ha has been sowed with wheat, 169,600 ha – with barley, and 243,700 ha – with spring crops.

The leaders among municipal districts are Sarman(22,100 ha), Aznakaevo (16,500 ha), Chistopol (15,900 ha) and Nurlat (15,100 ha) municipal districts.

In 15 districts of the republic the sowing of sugar beet is being carried out. By the current date the leaders are Sarman (4,700 ha), Nurlat (2,800 ha), Aksubaevo (1,400 ha) and Zainsk (1,300 ha) municipal districts. 13,500 ha in total have been sowed with sugar beet in the republic.

Mulching of winter crops in the republic has been done on 328,500 ha (55% from the forecast), mulching of perennial grass – on 449,900 ha (94% from the forecast).
