1,049,800 ha of lands have been sowed with spring crops in the republic, which is 61% of the forecast

According to the recent data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, 1,049,800 ha of lands (61% of the forecast) have been sowed with spring crops in the republic. 752,200 ha of lands (71%) are sowed with spring grains including barley (374,500 ha or 93%), spring wheat (237,000 ha or 50%), pea (52,700 ha or 85%). During a day 116,400 ha have been sowed with spring crops in the republic. The leaders in sowing are Saby, Atnya and Buinsk municipal districts, where sowing has been fulfilled at 90% and more.

 Except grains other crops are being sowed in the republic now: 47,200 ha have been sowed with sugar beet, 14,100 ha – with rape, 17,900 ha – with corn.

 Almetyevsk, Mamadysh, Mendeleevsk and Nizhny Kamsk municipal districts have finished sowing rape.

Farmers of Aktanysh municipal districts have fulfilled sowing of corn at 86%, farmers of Verkhny Uslon – at 90%.
