Deputy Minister of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov reported on technical modernization and preparation of field equipment for field work at a meeting in the House of the Government.

The meeting was held in the form of videoconferencing with all regions of Tatarstan, it was held by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Alexei Pesoshin.

Today in the Ministry of Agriculture of Republic of Tatarstan a general reporting meeting of representatives of consumer societies of Tatarstan was held. Before the event, guests visited an exhibition of production of regional consumer societies, organized in the lobby of building of Ministry of Agriculture, tried various treats: meat products, sausages, pastries, sweets and healthy herbal teas.

The 7th  February, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the work of the livestock industry in January 2019. The event was chaired by Deputy Minister Nazip Hazipov. The meeting was also attended by consultants on animal husbandry, heads of breeding services of agricultural and food departments in municipal districts, specialists from the Main State Agricultural Management of Breeding in Animal Production of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, heads and specialists of a number of agricultural organizations.

On February 7 in Paris, at the headquarters of the International Epizootic Bureau (OIE), a working meeting was held between Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev and OIE Director General Monique Eloy. The parties discussed the epizootic situation in Russia, our country's participation in international OIE projects and other issues of cooperation.

From 13 to 15th February the Volga agro-industrial forum and the specialized exhibition TatAgroExpo will be held in Tatarstan with participation of more than 3000 representatives of agro-industrial complex from 320 organizations and enterprises of Republic of Tatarstan and Russian regions.

The 6th February  the President of Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic - Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov visited the Leninogorsk municipal district.

Today, Rustam Minnikhanov , the President of Republic of Tatarstan and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov visited Zainsky municipal district.

Last weekend the Youth Forum was held in Alkeyevsky district of Tatarstan. The purpose of the event was to attract young professionals for employment in the area.

The 5th of February was held a meeting of the Committee on Ecology, Environmental Management, Agricultural and Food Policy and the Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the State Program for the Development of Agriculture of the State Council of Tatarstan. The parliamentarians discussed results of the implementation of the state program "Development of agriculture and regulation of markets of agricultural products, raw materials and food in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2013-2020" for 2018. Members of the Committee also supported the draft appeal of the State Council of the Republic to the Chairman of Government of Russian Federation D.A. Medvedev on the need to develop a state program for the elimination of the hogweed Sosnovsky in the country.
