Marat Akhmetov: mutual responsibility is important
Today in the Ministry of Agriculture of Republic of Tatarstan a general reporting meeting of representatives of consumer societies of Tatarstan was held. Before the event, guests visited an exhibition of production of regional consumer societies, organized in the lobby of building of Ministry of Agriculture, tried various treats: meat products, sausages, pastries, sweets and healthy herbal teas.
Deputy Prime Minister of Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan, Chairman of Council of Tatpotrebsoyuz (Tatarstan’ Consumers Union) Marat Akhmetov opened the meeting and gave the floor to Chairman of the Board of Tatpotrebsoyuz Makhmut Fattakhov to report on the results of activities for 2018 and tasks for future. Makhmut Fattakhov said that in 2018 the volume of catering trade in the system of Tatpotrebotsoyuz amounted to one billion 76 million rubles - this is 9% more than amount of 2017, while the share of consumer goods’s own products is 85 percent. “The government of Tatarstan in recent years has provided consumer cooperation support in amount of more than 700 million rubles on various issues. Thanks to the measures taken, total amount of activity of Tatpotrebsoyuz for 2018 amounted to 25 billion 252 million rubles (110% by 2017). Growth and stability of work was provided by Alekseevskoye, Buinskoe, Molkeyevskoe, and a number of other consumer societies, ” said the speaker.
The head of Executive Committee of Zainsky municipal district, Ilnar Khafizov reported on work experience and prospects for development of consumer cooperation in the region. Chairman of Board of Molkeevsky General Store Salavat Khalikov spoke about the work experience and prospects for the development of consumer cooperation in Kaibitsky district.
The Head of Department of Work with Regions of the Central European Union of Russian Federation noted that a unique situation of interaction between the state and cooperation had developed in Tatarstan. He expressed hope that the republic’s best practices would be implemented in other regions of Russia.
To conclude the meeting, Marat Akhmetov gave a positive assessment of the work of Tatpotrebsoyuz in 2018. “The level of demand for consumer cooperation in Tatarstan is not decreasing and stays claimed year after year. We are not deprived of attention of President of the Republic ustam Minnikhanov, who has experience in consumer cooperation and understands all problems from the inside. But we should not become consumers and constantly wait for help. Mutual responsibility is important. We need to look for new, modern approaches, introduce digitalization and adopt certain aspects of the successful experience of other regions,” said Marat Akhmetov.
