The youth forum showed that many students plan to return to work in their native district

Last weekend the Youth Forum was held in Alkeyevsky district of Tatarstan. The purpose of the event was to attract young professionals for employment in the area.

With the support of Agricultural Department of the district, students of Kazan State Agrarian University, Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, the Laishevsky Technical and Economic Technical School and the Chistopol Agricultural Technical School, as well as young specialists employed in the agroindustrial complex from 2016 to 2018, participated in the Youth Forum. In total, 300 forum participants gathered in the local house of culture.

They were greeted by head of the district, Alexander Nikoshin. Talking to students and graduates of schools, he urged them to make a right choice in life.

“I would like you, having acquired a profession, to tie up your life with your native district. To be proud of our Alkeevskiy district, to benefit your native land. In order to flourish, there is everything: land, territory, infrastructure. The only thing we need is young, educated specialists who would put their strength, knowledge and skills for development of the area. And today we are opening new enterprises, creating jobs and good living conditions,”said the head of the district.

Also the Deputy Minister for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Anna Zakhmatova, the rector of the Kazan Cooperative Institute Alsou Nabiyeva, professor, head of the department of microbiology of the Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine named by Bauman Albert Galiullin took part in the event.

For active participation in public life, students and young specialists from the district received certificates of honor on behalf of the Head of Alkeevsky District.

At the end of the event, the Agricultural Department organized a conversation with the participation of students and young professionals. They discussed all questions of interest and also state support measures for young specialists.

Many of forum participants expressed a desire to return to their native district after school.
