A scientist from the Agrarian university subordinate to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan won a grant for state support of young Russian scientists - candidates and doctors of sciences, carrying out promising research and development in priority areas of modernization of the Russian economy in the field of "Technical Sciences". Professor of the Department of Operation and Repair of Machines at the Institute of Mechanization and Technical Service Marat Kalimullin improved the technology of potato cultivation by combining technological operations.

Today agricultural cooperatives are the drivers of the development of the agricultural sector. One of such examples is the cooperative "EcoPtitsa" of the Mamadysh district.

According to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, as of January 11, 2021, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations amounted to 49.89 thousand tons, which is 4.9% (2.3 thousand tons) more than the same period last year.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia discussed issues of ensuring fire safety at agricultural facilities during seasonal field work in 2021. Scientists of Kazan State University under the leadership of the head and professor of the Department of Operation and Repair of Machines, Nail Adigamov, have developed a comprehensive technology for hardening the working bodies of agricultural machines. The study became the winner of the competition of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan among scientific research and development of agro-industrial complex.
