Tatarstan retains leadership in terms of milk sales

According to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, as of January 11, 2021, the daily volume of milk sales by agricultural organizations amounted to 49.89 thousand tons, which is 4.9% (2.3 thousand tons) more than the same period last year.

The maximum sales volumes were achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as in the Krasnodar Territory, Voronezh, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Leningrad, Belgorod, Novosibirsk, Moscow regions, and the Udmurt Republic.

To date, according to the operational data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the gross milk yield in the republic per day is 3754.5 tons, which is 192.2 tons more than last year (105.4%). Milk yield per cow per day is 16.8 kg, which is 1.2 kg more than in the previous year. Taking into account milk from the population, only 4223.2 tons of milk are realized daily, which is more by 212.1 tons and is 105% in relation to 2020.

The leaders among the districts of Tatarstan in terms of milk yield from one cow per day are Atninsky (29.8 kg), Mamadyshsky (25.4 kg), Sabinsky (24.4 kg), Kukmorsky (23.9 kg), and Baltasinsky (21, 4 kg) areas.

Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reported that the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia noted the leadership of Tatarstan in terms of milk sales.
