From 28 of february to 1 March the inter-regional exhibition "Potato-2019" will be held in the capital of the Chuvash Republic. Representatives from about 20 regions of Russia, including Tatarstan, are expected to attend.

This was announced on February 26 by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov at a meeting of the Council of the Spassky Municipal District on the basis of socio-economic development for 2018 and setting tasks for 2019.

From 15th to 17th of March, the Agrarian Youth Association of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan and the Tatarstan Ministry of Youth Affairs by the subprogram “Rural youth of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014–2020” organizes training at the School of a young entrepreneur (novice farmer).

On February 25, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov visited the Sabinsky municipal district. During the visit with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, took part in the opening of the new building of the Sabinsky Agrarian College.

In connection with the discussion in social networks of the increase in bread prices from the 1st of March  and the large number of requests from the media, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan informs that the situation  is under its control.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Khabipov, Acting Chairman of the AIC Veterans Council of Tatarstan Mars Aliev and other representatives of the Council of Veterans.

The vice-premier of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan reported about labor protection at the agro-industrial complex and supervision of the technical condition of the safe agricultural machinery today on the meeting in the House of Government of Tatarstan.

Today, the hero of our column “People of Labor” is Zakharov Nikolai Ivanovich. He was born on September 20, 1929 in the village of Old Chelny of the Oktyabrsky District in a peasant family. He graduated from the rural seven-year school on the second year of the Great Patriotic War. The boy had to help the adults who remained on the work in the fields and farms.

This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev at the meeting on the issue of increasing agricultural production and developing the export potential of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, which was held today in Kazan. The event was attended by Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Alexey Kuzmitsky, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, heads of regions of the Volga Federal District, heads of regional AIC and key companies of the industry.
