The President of Tatarstan got acquainted with the course of spring field work in the farms of Alekseevsky district
Today President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Alekseevsky district of Tatarstan. Rustam Minnikhanov was accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov and the head of the Alekseevsky municipal district Sergey Demidov.
During the working visit, Rustam Minnikhanov and Marat Akhmetov familiarized themselves with the progress of the spring field work in the farms of the districts, visiting Bilyarsk (VZP Bilyarsk LLC), p. Dry Magazines (NP Alekseevskoe) and Sakharovka (JSC "VZP Severnoe Alekseevskoe").
Near the village of Sakharovka, Rustam Minnikhanov spoke with heads of farms, investors and heads of settlements of the Alekseevsky municipal district. Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev and First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues Airat Khairullin. There was also a small exhibition of products of enterprises of the region, which presented bakery, confectionery, dairy, sausage products, beverages and bee products. The Alekseevskaya Ceramics enterprise presented the samples of bricks and souvenirs made at the factory.
At the exhibition were presented seeds of spring wheat, oats, barley, buckwheat, peas and maize of different varieties sown in the fields of the district.
Marat Akhmetov reported that the field work in the region is proceeding in a good pace. North spring is conducted on an area of 52.6 thousand hectares, including spring grain - 27.7 thousand hectares: barley - 12.5 thousand hectares, wheat - 8.6 thousand hectares, oats - 0.6 thousand hectares, sunflower - 10.1 thousand hectares. Fertilizing was carried out with mineral fertilizers on an area of 34.7 thousand hectares. Sowing is scheduled for completion on May 11.
Marat Akhmetov also noted that the Alekseevsky district does not fully realize the existing potential in the field of animal husbandry.
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov instructed the head of the Alekseevsky municipal district Sergey Demidov to carefully work out this issue. At the end of the event, the President of the Republic listened to the suggestions of the heads of farms and answered questions.
