On May 11, 1247 thousand hectares were sown in the Republic of Tatarstan, or 72% of the forecast. Sowing is in active stage. This was announced today at a meeting in the House of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic Marat Akhmetov.
The meeting was held in the form of video conferencing with all municipal districts by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister of the Republic Alexei Pesoshin.
So, the sown 1247 thousand hectares include spring grain (814 thousand hectares), oilseeds (150 thousand hectares), sugar beets (63 thousand hectares). In the same time the work on potato, vegetable fields and feed wedge is in process.
According to Marat Akhmetov, this year many farms don't have carry-over residues of feed. He asked farm managers to calculate the balance of feed, taking into account the availability of stocks.
During the meeting, data on the sowing rate in the municipal districts were announced. So, Tetyushsky has 91% of readiness, Buinsky - 89%, Aznakaevsky - 87%. According to Marat Akhmetov, the sowing of the main areas is being completed recently in these areas.
Aksubayevsky, Drozhzhanovsky, Apastovsky, Nurlatsky districts are also at the final stage of sowing (about 85%).
According to the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the organization of work and the motivation of workers seriously affect the pace of sowing.
So far, the course of spring is favorable for us, said Marat Akhmetov, but daily monitoring and an individual approach for each field is very important.
While planting in the districts, they began to take protective measures. Moreover, the weather contributes to the rapid development of weeds, as well as the spread of pests that damage young shoots.
“Wherever insecticide dressing was not applied, sprayers should now start sprouting protection,” Marat Akhmetov said.
Speaking about winter crops, the minister reminded that the situation on the winter wedge had not improved over the past week. A similar condition on winter crops and in neighboring regions - Bashkortostan, Chuvashia and Mordovia was also introduced an emergency situation on their territories.
As for Tatarstan, more than 200 thousand hectares, or 36%, were lost. The average damage per hectare is 8 thousand rubles.
Marat Akhmetov said that the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic is starting to accept documents on the death of winter crops. Documents will be accepted strictly according to the methodology of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
“Reseeding seriously increases the amount of planting,” he said. - For the moment 25% was reseeded.
Marat Akhmetov also said that the sowing campaign is expected to be completed this week.
