The President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, made a working visit to the Sabinsky municipal district, where he familiarized himself with the progress of the spring field work and met with representatives of the farms. The RT President was accompanied by the RT Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov and the head of the Sabinsky District Rais Minnikhanov.
The area of agricultural land in Sabinsky district is 63.5 thousand hectares, including 58.3 thousand hectares of arable land. Agrarians allotted 7.8 thousand hectares for winter crops. Northern spring crops are planned on an area of 30.4 thousand hectares. To date, work has been completed by 30% - more than 9 thousand hectares.
“The farms are provided with the necessary fuel and lubricants. Due to subsidies, it was possible to accumulate a sufficient amount of mineral fertilizers. Special gratitude for this is to the leadership of the republic, ”- said the head of the district.
Marat Akhmetov stressed that agriculture occupies an important place in the economy of the Sabinsky district. Local farmers pay special attention to the introduction of innovative technologies in the agro-industrial sector. One of the main tasks for today, according to the minister, is the modernization of the district agricultural machinery park.
As for the livestock industry, there are positive indicators in the area. The total livestock of cattle is 26.4 thousand heads, including 8.6 thousand milk cows. More than 170 tons of milk are produced in the district every day.
In 2018, 17 cowsheds, 3 MTPs, 4 grain-current farms and 1 vegetable storehouse were overhauled in Sabinsky district, and 13 silage and hay silo trenches were built.
After the meeting, Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with the construction of a new robotic dairy complex "Shinar". The object is designed for the maintenance of 2.4 thousand milk cows. The investment project is implemented in three stages. After reaching the design capacity of the new complex will produce daily up to 50-60 thousand liters of milk every day. The first stage of the dairy complex project for 600 animals is planned to be commissioned in the summer of this year.
