Today on May 22 a republican seminar-session on beekeeping was held in Kazan.

The main report was presented by Rashit Safiullin, Director General of State-Financed Institution “Office of Beekeeping”. He reported about the perspectives of the development of beekeeping in the republic under the program “Beekeeping Development in the Republic of Tatarstan 2011-2020”.

On May 21 in the Tatar Institute of Personnel Development in Agribusiness International Science-to-Practice Conference “Competitive Growth and Efficiency of Agricultural Sector under World Trade Organization and Customs Union” was held.

More than 250 scholars, teachers, postgraduates, directors and specialists in agriculture from leading scientific and research centers of Russia, Belorussia, the Ukraine and Kazakhstan took part in the conference.

Yesterday, on May 20, on experimental fields of Tatar Science and Research Institute a working session on organization of the International Exhibition 2015 was held. For the first time in the Republic of Tatarstan it is planned to organize “International Field Days in the Volga-Region”, which is a specialized International exhibition for specialists-practitioners and professionals similar to the DLG Field Day in Germany, on experimental fields of the institute.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan prepared a document on investment loans allocation for development of cattle breeding. The document was approved at the session of Government of the Russian Federation on May 8, 2014.

On May 21-22, 2014, International Research and Training Conference “Competitive growth and increase of efficiency of agricultural sector under the World Trade Organization and the Customs Union” will take place in FSBEI AFVE “Tatar institute of personnel development in agribusiness”.

Nikolai Yakushin, Rector of Tatar institute of personnel development in agribusiness, will speak on methodological approaches to the implementation of modern agricultural policy.

Students of Mechanization and Technical Service Institute of Kazan State Agrarian University have finished their work experience internship and come back from different districts of the republic, where they helped agricultural manufacturers to carry out the spring sowing campaign, as reported by Marsel Akhmetzyanov, Work Experience Internship Supervisor of Kazan State Agrarian University.

According to recent reports of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, 1.3 million ha (77% ) were sowed with spring crops, including 932.1 thousand ha with winter crops, 402.6 thousand ha with wheat, 51.6 thousand ha with peas. 383.2 thousand ha were sowed with barley in different districts of the republic.

In the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic of Tatarstan the results of 4-last-months-work in cattle breeding were summarized and the tasks for the period of summer camping of cattle were set.

The session was chaired by Nazip Khazipov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Consultants on cattle breeding of local districts, specialists of brood service of municipal districts, directors of brood enterprises, representatives of investment companies, etc. participated in the session.
