Federal special purpose programs

Under the federal special purpose program “Social development of the village for the period until 2013”, the subjects of the Russian Federation were supported with the federal budget with the purpose of construction and reconstruction of clubs, community centers and on providing local community centers and libraries with specialized portable equipment (autoclubs).

Within the period from 2009 till 2012, 0.24 billion rubles were given from the federal budget for carrying out of the program.

In 2014 the implementation of the federal special purpose program “Sustainable development of rural territories 2014-2017 and for the period until 2020” started. Under the program since 2016 the series of activities will be held to develop a network of community and cultural centers in the rural area. The contracting authority and the coordinator is the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Since 2016 till 2020 there will be a state financial support of 2.83 billion rubles from the federal budget.
