Results in cattle breeding for 4 months

In the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic of Tatarstan the results of 4-last-months-work in cattle breeding were summarized and the tasks for the period of summer camping of cattle were set.

The session was chaired by Nazip Khazipov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Consultants on cattle breeding of local districts, specialists of brood service of municipal districts, directors of brood enterprises, representatives of investment companies, etc. participated in the session.

According to Nazip Khazipov, the main issues are preservation and reproduction of cattle.

Cattle stock has increased in Kaibitsk, Atnya, Aznakaevo, Alkeevo and some other districts in comparison with the same period of the previous year while Muslyumovo, Spas and Tyulyachi municipal districts of the republic get behind most of all in comparison with the last year results.

Deputy Minister noted that for the purpose of the efficiency improvement of budget allocation and preservation of cattle stock the subsidies from the Tatarstan budget were given to the agricultural manufacturers for 1 liter of milk sold. In 2015 the subsidies will be given on condition that the cattle stock does not decrease in comparison with 01.01.2014.

The subsidies are also given to the agricultural manufacturers whose productivity is not less than 70 calves (out of 100) and to breeding livestock farms with the productivity of not less than 80 calves (out of 100) on condition that cattle stock does not decrease in comparison with 01.01.2014.

It should be mentioned that from April, 1 to May, 31 of the current year there is a 2 months’ campaign on cleaning and sanitation of farms and their surroundings as well as the places of recycling of bio-wastes. At the session the specialists of the Main Veterinary Department of the Republic of Tatarstan provided some photos from their work trips into Almetyevsk, Zainsk and some other municipal districts of the republic.

Setting the tasks for the period of simmer camping of cattle, Deputy Minister noted that it was necessary to take urgent steps to prepare summer camps for milking herds, young stock, to repair milking equipment, refrigerators, to take measures to provide standby power supply.

While holding cattle in camps it is necessary to check out livestock buildings, farm equipment and to start repairing them.

“For financial incentives of stock farmers it is necessary to develop advanced forms of payment for labour for the summer period and to provide conditions for effective work”, noted Nazip Khazipov.

As per administrative order № 82/2 dated by 18.04.2014 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, on April, 26 of the current year the committee headed by First Deputy Nazip Khazipov was in Muslyumovo municipal district with the purpose of providing the aid to agricultural firms of the district.

The 17-person committee took a look at the technology of livestock husbandry and feeding.

It is planned to carry out the similar campaign in Bavly, Sarmanovo, Cheremshan, Spas, Mendeleevsk municipal districts of the republic.
