Contest on operational acceptance of harvest-transport system for harvesting 2014 in Tatarstan
A contest on operational acceptance of harvest-transport system for harvesting 2014 among AIC organizations is held in municipal districts of the republic from July 15 till July 19. The contest is organized with the aim of early and proper preparation of agricultural machinery for harvesting.

The document was signed by the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Nikolai Titov and the President of the Foundation Anatoly Chubais.

Analysis of agriculture

Within the framework of the state program of agricultural development, the federal agricultural department carries out statistical analysis of the state of cattle breeding in Russia.

The data received for the 1st quarter of the current year, concerning the republic of Tatarstan, show that cattle breeding consists of beef cattle breeding, dairy cattle breeding, pig farming and poultry breeding. The republic takes the 2nd place in the country in cattle and poultry production for slaughter, the 1st place in milk production and the 13th place in eggs production.

Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation visits Tatarstan agricultural enterprises

A working trip of the minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Nikolai Fedorov to the Republic of Tatarstan is planned for July 10.

The minister will be accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov.

Work is going on
The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation continues working on the draft laws concerning the further development of Russian AIC. During the spring session the Government of the Russian Federation introduced the following bills to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation: “Amendments to the federal law “Drug circulation”; “Amendments to article 333 32 section 2 of the Russian Tax Code”; “Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the International Epizootic Bureau on the foundation of the regional representative office of the International Epizootic Bureau in the Russian Federation”.

Today a republican plenary session-workshop was held in Zainsk municipal district. It was devoted to the results of work of Tatarstan AIC in the first half of the year and the forthcoming harvesting campaign. The following officials took part at the session: the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhannov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, Government Executive office of the Republic of Tatarstan, Government of the republic, deputies of the Tatarstan State Council, heads of ministries and administrations, directors of local agricultural and food offices, directors of agricultural enterprises, holding companies, farm households, specialists from agricultural sphere, scientists, etc.
