The Agreement for Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Infrastructure and Educational Program Foundation on July 14. The document was signed by the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Nikolai Titov and the President of the Foundation Anatoly Chubais.
The Agreement was followed by productive cooperative work. The Innovative and Nanotechnological Production Catalogue had been created, a complex diagnostics of contagious diseases (with the use of DNA micro-chips) among animals had been carried out, criteria for compliance of products, services and work with innovative production and/or high-technological production had been developed. A display of nanotechnologies for hothouse facilities was organized in the flower gardening laboratory of Security Department of the historical park in FSBEI HPE Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev.
The Agreement is valid through July 2019 and guarantees coordination of scientific, technical and informational cooperation concerning the issues of introduction of innovative and nanotechnological production into AIC as well as into small business and sustainable development of rural territories.
Within the framework of the Agreement the federal agrarian department determines current and potential needs in innovative production in AIC, encourages the Foundation to develop draft regulations and programs, coordinates distribution of scientific and technical novelties in the sphere of nanotechnologies as well as domestic and foreign experience in order to introduce them into AIC, implements a number of programs of mutual cooperation.
In its turn the Infrastructure and Educational Program Foundation develops educational programs on staff training and personnel development for AIC and programs on boosting the demand with the aim of creation of new markets. Also among perspective trends of cooperation there is raising the interest to nanotechnologies in agricultural production and processing industry, development of basic technical standard documents, etc.
The Agreement will allow developing and monitoring of pilot projects with the use of innovative technologies in different spheres of AIC together with big agricultural holding companies and AIC regulatory bodies in different constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
