Work is going on

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation continues working on the draft laws concerning the further development of Russian AIC. During the spring session the Government of the Russian Federation introduced the following bills to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation: “Amendments to the federal law “Drug circulation”; “Amendments to article 333 32 section 2 of the Russian Tax Code”; “Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the International Epizootic Bureau on the foundation of the regional representative office of the International Epizootic Bureau in the Russian Federation”.

On July 2, 2014 the bill “Plant quarantine” was introduced.

The law is aimed at the protection of plants and territories of the Russian Federation from quarantine harmful organisms, improvement of the control under plant quarantine, compliance with international commitments in this sphere.

On July 4, 2014 the bill “Amendments to the federal law “Financial restructuring of agricultural producers” was introduced.

During the spring session 2014 representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation took part in the work of committees and commissions of the State Duma concerning the introduction of the following bills: “Amendments to the federal law “Farm households”; “Amendments to the Law of the Russian Federation №4979-1 dated May 14, 1993 “Veterinary”; “Amendments to articles 27 and 29 of the federal law “Land melioration”; “Amendments to article 7 of the federal law “Agricultural development”.
