The Russian Union of Rural Youth (RURU) launched the “Beginner Farmer” project - an initiative to support young farmers, develop business planning skills in agriculture and teamwork. The winners of the Game will be awarded with diplomas and souvenirs and invited to internships in the participating countries - Russia, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus and others.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan pays great attention to the development of small and medium businesses in rural areas. Today in every district there are people who have opened their own business and successfully developed it. One of them, Anatoly Samarenkin, opened a workshop for the production of oyster mushrooms in his native village of Staroe Mokshino, Aksubaevsky District.

One of them is the farmer Pavel Muklukov from the Kaybitsky district. In 2013, he received a grant from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan by the Beginner Farmer program in the amount of 1.2 million rubles for the cultivation of fruit and berry crops, and today pleases Tatarstan residents with fresh raspberries, even in October.
The team of the Matyushinsky school of the Verkhneuslonsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan reached the final stage of the VII All-Russian intellectual game “Novice Farmer” and won the victory in the nomination “Innovative Projects”.

From 15 to 17th of March in Kazan was held a training at the School of a young entrepreneur (novice farmer). The event was organized by the Agrarian Youth Association of the Republic of Tatarstan in conjunction with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan by the subprogram of the Rural Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2020.
Novice farmers in Tatarstan can apply for a grant of up to 70 million rubles for the creation of a “farming cooperative” from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. The head of the department of science, education and innovative technologies Nail Khamidullin told about it at a press conference in the "Tatar-inform" the 5th of March.
