The team of the Matyushinsky school of the Verkhneuslonsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan reached the final stage of the VII All-Russian intellectual game “Novice Farmer” and won the victory in the nomination “Innovative Projects”.
At the final of the game, organized by the Russian Union of Rural Youth and the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, on April 25, forty teams of young farmers from all over the country gathered in Voronezh. In seven years of the Games, more than 8,000 people took part in them. In 2016, a nomination for schoolchildren was first allocated, and in 2018 - it was allocated for young professionals.
Matiushinsky schoolchildren presented to the jury their business plan “Organization of a small educational farm on the basis of a secondary school with an agrotechnological profile” and products from the school district. The students were accompanied by leaders - the school director Ildus Sharafiyev and the teacher Galina Gadelshina. As a result, they won a victory in the nomination "Innovative Projects".
Vyacheslav Popov, Director of the Department of Science and Technology Policy and Education of the Ministry of Agriculture, congratulated the organizers and participants on behalf of Russian Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev, stressing that hosting the Games helps to attract young people to the industry and contributes to their comprehensive professional training. “Participation in them enables young people to acquire useful skills in business planning, as well as expand knowledge in the field of economics and management in agriculture,” the Minister of Agriculture said.
The winners of this year will be recommended to participate in the implementation of activities of the state program to support novice farmers.
