Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan told about the School of a young entrepreneur (novice farmer)

Novice farmers in Tatarstan can apply for a grant of up to 70 million rubles for the creation of a “farming cooperative” from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. The head of the department of science, education and innovative technologies Nail Khamidullin told about it at a press conference in the "Tatar-inform" the 5th of March.

“Depending on their project, novice farmers can apply for the following grants: small projects up to 3 million rubles, a grant up to 30 million rubles for the development of family farms, and the creation of a farmer’s cooperative can qualify for up to 70 million rubles of state support,” the speaker said .

The press conference about the School of Young Entrepreneurs (novice farmers) was held at the news agency Tatar-inform by the Rural Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan 2014–2020 sub-program.

The event was attended by Head of the Department of Science, Education and Innovative Technologies, Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Khamidullin, Chairman of the Regional Public Organization “Agrarian Youth Association of the Republic of Tatarstan” Dilyara Shuvalova, farmer from the Vysokogorsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan Gulnara Shamsieva and a farmer from the Kaybitsky District of the Republic of Tatarstan Raushan Garayev .

Dilyara Shuvalova noted that the work of farmers, including beginners, is of great social importance. The existing measures of support to agrarians give Tatarstan a great advantage over other regions of the country, she added.

“Now the global trend is that in rural areas there are fewer residents and work, but this does not mean that agriculture has no future. Such projects should support life in rural areas and preserve our culture and our native language, ”added Head of the Department of Science, Education and Innovative Technologies of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan Nail Khamidullin.
