The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan invites rural youth to the “Beginner Farmer” business game

The Russian Union of Rural Youth (RURU) launched the “Beginner Farmer” project - an initiative to support young farmers, develop business planning skills in agriculture and teamwork. The winners of the Game will be awarded with diplomas and souvenirs and invited to internships in the participating countries - Russia, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus and others.

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan reminds that teams of up to 5 people aged 14 to 35 years are invited to participate in the Game. Schoolchildren, agricultural universities students, young people with experience in personal farming of 3 years and entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector can participate.

Their business projects can be devoted to 5 nominations:

- livestock;

- crop production;

- agricultural cooperation;

- agritourism,

- landscape design;

- free topic.

The business game will be held in several stages: national - until June 30, 2020; international (in absentia) - until August 31, 2020; international (full-time) with the presentation of projects to the international expert council - until October 31, 2020 in one of the regions of Russia.

The business game "Beginner Farmer" is supported by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. The project is being implemented using a grant of  the President of Russia provided by the Presidential Grants Fund.
