Every week we write about people who, with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan, develop their business in the countryside, family farms and young entrepreneurs. One of these is Ramazan Khaidarov from the village of Starye Chelny, Alkeevsky District.
In 2020, he received a grant from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan under the Beginner Farmer program in the amount of 4 million rubles. With the help of the grant, he bought 23 heads of black-and-white heifers. Now the farm has 72 heads of cattle and 6 horses.
“Aisher cows provide good milk yield. Until the cows calve, we take only 130 liters of milk a day to the milk collection point of the regional center. And when there are more cows, then you will have to think about additional equipment”, says Ramazan Khaidarov.
His reliable assistants are the parents Gali and Gulgena Khaidarovs. Gulgena Vakhitovna devoted her whole life to teaching rural children the "great, mighty and truthful" Russian language. She recently retired and took over the duties of a family farm accountant.
Gali is a very modest man, literate, thoroughly versed in his business, working as a veterinarian. Many villagers turn to him because they know that he will definitely help and give good advice.
The farm owns about 40 hectares of land, on 14 of them perennials are sown, on the rest - grain crops: barley, wheat and oats.
“Ten hectares have been sown with winter crops since autumn. You may even have to re-sow. After all, the cattle should be fed correctly, according to the ration, otherwise you will not receive profit”, says Gali.
The farm is "all inclusive". The grain is crushed by us. We bought a grain crusher. We don't buy hay either. 400 rolls were prepared for the season. In the summer we dug a trench for haylage. We have prepared 50 tons of roughage. 100 bales of straw were unloaded into a card.
“Don't count me, I'm mostly at home, doing housework and bookkeeping”, laughs Gulgena Vakhitovna.
To date, the farm already has a Niva-105 combine, a T-150 tractor and a YuMZ. We have already bought a TSM-160 manure transporter for the new farm. They plan to purchase an MTZ-82 tractor and other equipment.
“It is gratifying that my son followed in my footsteps, did not disobey, did not stay in the city. Or maybe he didn't even have such thoughts, who knows? The future of our small village, the entire district, is in the hands of such young, promising, enterprising farmers like our Ramadan, ”says Gali aby.
