From June 22 to June 29, the 8th Russian Open Plowing Championship is held near the village of Goryainovka of the Republic of Mordovia. On June 25, Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree, according to which the list of professions of rural workers eligible for a pension supplement of 25% was expanded. The document is published on the official Internet portal of legal information and has already entered into force.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan informs that in 2019, by the initiative of the Russian Union of Rural Youth, the All-Russian Popular Front launched a new project “Village. The territory of Development”. Its goal is to analyze the implementation of national projects in rural areas and the formation of new approaches to rural development. The objectives of the project include monitoring the implementation of national projects and government programs that affect the development of rural areas, developing proposals for improving the quality of life in rural areas and involving local people in the development of their localities.
