From June 22 to June 29, the 8th Russian Open Plowing Championship is held near the village of Goryainovka of the Republic of Mordovia. The event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, the State Duma and the Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the All-Russian political party United Russia, the Association of Peasant Farms and Agricultural Cooperatives of Russia (AKKOR). The organizers of the competition are the JSC "Rosagrolizing" and the Government of the Republic of Mordovia. The event is attended by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Talgat Tagirzyanov.
For the main prize of the championship will compete 70 of the best machine operators in the country from 45 regions of Russia. For the first time, representatives of the Republic of Karelia, Sakhalin, Kemerovo and Irkutsk regions will try themselves at all-Russian competitions.
In the final of the championship, competitions on plowing, tractor management skills (“Tractor Show”), as well as plowing and tractor management skills among students of secondary vocational schools of the Republic of Mordovia are expected.
Machine operators compete on Agrolux 4.8 tractors produced by Samee Deutz-Far Russia LLC, equipped with Kverneland sports double body reversible plows.
The Republic of Tatarstan is represented by Albert Akberov, the head of the peasant (farm) economy of the Mamadysh District - last year’s finalist at the 7th Open Russian Plowing Championship.
According to the results of the qualifying round, Albert Akberov scored the highest number of points and reached the final.
As part of the qualifying competition, the judging panel assessed the evenness of the furrow, plowing speed and depth throughout the course of the assignment and more than 20 indicators.
Machine operators from Mordovia, Bashkortostan, Leningrad, Tver, Ivanovo, Penza, Oryol and Volgograd regions, as well as the Stavropol Territory participated in the final part.
Championship winners will be announced on June 29, 2019 after the final competitions.
As part of the event, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation today holds a plenary conference "Updating the fleet of agricultural machinery: experience, practice, prospects", at which it is planned to consider issues such as preparation for harvesting by the regions of the Volga Federal District and the process of technical modernization of the agrarian and industrial complexes.
The main prize of the championship - Kirovets K-424 is the only wheeled tractor of the 4th traction class.
Participants who did not qualify for the final will be able to measure themselves for a separate prize in the Tractor Show tractor control skill competition. The winner of the competition will receive a wheel tractor Agrolux 60 of the DEUTZ-FAHR company.
