Sergey Dankvert: the experience of Tatarstan deserves a respect

Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of the Russian Federation on the basis of the activities of the service for the first half of 2019.

The meeting was chaired by Sergey Dankvert, Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor of the Russian Federation, with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov and Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Maxim Uvaydov. Also, the meeting was attended by the Head of the Veterinary Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan - Chief State Veterinary Inspector of Tatarstan Almaz Khisamutdinov, Head of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Tatarstan Nurislam Habipov and heads of other territorial departments of the Russian Agricultural Inspection.

 “Today, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and I discussed the way Tatarstan invests in livestock production and the development of the veterinary service today. All regions of the country need to take an example from Tatarstan,” said Sergey Dankvert, opening the event. Also, the Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor added that the experience of Tatarstan deserves deep respect and dissemination, and the efficiency of work of the services was the result of coordinated work.

Marat Akhmetov confirmed the importance of well-coordinated interaction in the work of services. “We are one big team,” noted the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan. - By making serious investments in the agro-industrial complex of Tatarstan, we and our colleagues bear responsibility for the result, for the efficiency of agriculture. But the tasks still remain and we are focused on solving them”.

The meeting summed up the activities of the supervisory authority in the first half of 2019, and also discussed the prospects for electronic veterinary certification.

Recall that from July 1, 2019 it will be mandatory to issue veterinary certificates for all finished livestock products, except for a part of dairy products. Veterinary certificates for drinking milk, dairy products in consumer packaging and ice cream will begin to be processed from 1 November. Sergey Dankvert noted that the maintenance of electronic documents will become mandatory, in particular, for condensed milk and cream, butter, cheese. "The Federal State Information System "Mercury" is fully prepared for the processing of electronic documents for dairy products," he said.

Access to FGIS "Mercury" is received by 12 487 Tatarstan enterprises. Among those who work with Mercury are 7,620 legal entities, 4,680 individual entrepreneurs and 187 individuals engaged in the production and processing of controlled products. At the same time, 196 enterprises are engaged in processing of products of animal origin: 62 - milk processing, 105 - meat and 29 - fish.
