The combine harvesters were about to work at full strength profiting from sunny days, but the rains started again. Despite this, the head of the Sarmanovsky region Farit Khusnullin, the head of the district department of agriculture and food Albert Sharipov, decided not to postpone the planned event, and went to the farmers to present awards to the winners of the next five-day competition organized among machine operators.

Rainy days in the republic in the midst of the harvesting campaign do not allow to go to the fields. The combine operators are busy with the current repair of equipment. Indeed, for a real person of labor, a day spent idle is a lost day. 

Today in Tatarstan 62% or 884.6 thousand hectares of harvested areas of grain and leguminous crops are threshed. From individual farms of the republic, information about the end of grain harvesting is already coming.

For the majority of the population of the republic, a weekend is a legal time to relax, but the village lives its own special life. The fate of the harvest is in the hands of farmers today and every hour lost threatens with the loss of the crop. The days and hours are limited. Last week, the head of the Kaybitsky district Albert Rakhmatullin, together with the head of the Department of Agriculture and Food Radik Kamaletdinov, visited the district's farms and awarded machine operators who threshed the largest amount of grain.

In the fields of the Mendeleev region, near the village of Toyma, the harvesting is in full swing. The hum of combine harvesters and machines is unusual for a city dweller. The farm KAMAI-AGRO was the first in the region to start harvesting crops. Watching the progress of work in Toyma, one feels all the responsibility and importance of the moment.

Harvesting in the fields of Buinsky district is gaining momentum day by day. Combiners are trying to profit from every minute of sunny days. Now it is important to mobilize all forces. The fate of this year's harvest is decided not only by combine harvesters in the fields, but also by the workers of elevators. After rainy days, the threshed grain comes wet. To lay it in storage, it is necessary to dry it up to 13% humidity.

Changeable weather this year was a serious test for the farmers of Tatarstan. In the midst of harvest, heavy rains began. As soon as it clears up, the equipment immediately enters the fields.
