According to the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, in January-February 2020, milk production in farms of all categories amounted to 4.3 million tons, which is 5.8% higher than the same period of 2019. Including agricultural organizations, production increased by 9.1%. The largest increase was provided by agricultural organizations of the Krasnodar Territory, Ryazan, Voronezh, Novosibirsk, Kaluga Regions and the Republic of Tatarstan.

This was announced today by Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev at a meeting of the Operational Headquarters for monitoring the situation with socially significant agricultural products and food. Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov took part in this work.
