News from the fields: Agrarians of Buinsky and Nurlatsky districts were the first to start sowing

Agrarians of Buinsky and Nurlatsky districts were the first to go to sowing spring crops. So, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, 80 ha of wheat and 120 ha of barley are sown today in Buinsky district, and 30 ha of barley in the Nurlatsky district.

In general, all regions of Tatarstan began spring field work - first of all, top dressing of winter and perennial grasses (all areas), harrowing (30 areas), seed incrustation (23 areas). The early start of top dressing allows you to more rationally distribute the load on the units and working personnel of farms.

The work of farmers does not stop. All of them are now working in the fields, farms and processing enterprises of the republic and will continue their work, despite the announced non-working days. In this difficult time, everyone works to ensure that each of us has fresh products.

Now winter crops are fed on an area of 304.4 thousand ha, which is already more than 63% of the planned, perennial grasses - 158 thousand ha. In total this year, winter crops will be fed on an area of 486.7 thousand ha, perennial grasses - on 484.1 thousand ha.

Inlay was carried out with 29.2 thousand tons of seeds, harrowing was performed on 54 thousand ha of perennial grasses, winter crops, winter swellings and steam.

“Food security is becoming increasingly important. Spring day feeds the year. We need to do everything on time and lay the foundation for a good harvest in the republic. It is important to be healthy in order to complete all the work on time, so those who can, we ask you to stay home to prevent the spread of infection, ”said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov.
