Marat Zyabbarov: the field work has begun everywhere in the republic
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov reported on the progress of spring field work and modernization by the infrastructure of horticultural partnerships today at a republican meeting.
The President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a videoconference with all municipal areas. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin took part in the meeting.
Marat Zyabbarov said that the republic began field work everywhere. Currently, there is an active feeding of winter crops and perennial grasses. Winter crops are sown on an area of almost 500 thousand hectares. They came out of wintering in good condition, and the vegetation started.
“The timely application of fertilizers will help us maintain the potential of winter crops. In total, 69% of the area, or 334 thousand ha, has been fed this morning. Highly organized work was noted in the agricultural companies of the Agrosila company, which have already completed top dressing of winter crops in Zainsky and Sarmanovsky districts. Also, feeding was completed by Tukaevsky, Tetyushsky and Chistopol districts. In general, the pace of work in the republic is not bad”, the minister said.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan paid special attention to the issues of caring for perennial herbs. This is 484 thousand ha or 54% of the forage wedge. Most of them are in good condition. So far, 178 thousand ha - 37% have been fed.
Further, the Minister reported on the provision of engineering infrastructure for horticultural and vegetable garden non-profit partnerships. Today in the republic there are 950 horticultural and vegetable garden non-profit partnerships in which 381 thousand garden plots are registered, located on 30 thousand ha of agricultural land.
From 2017 to 2019, as part of a special program in 334 partnerships, 27 km of water supply, 86 wells, and 156 reservoirs were repaired; in 459 SNT, 329 sites for the collection and removal of solid waste were repaired, 593 containers and 130 bunkers were purchased; 116 km of power lines and 118 complete transformer substations were repaired; 90 km of access roads were updated. For these purposes, 1.65 billion rubles were allocated from the republican budget.
Also, in 2018-2019, were provided subsidies for the repair of internal infrastructure on the basis of co-financing in the ratio of 1: 2 according to the example of self-taxation of citizens in rural settlements. 116 million rubles were allocated for these tasks. Over 2 years, 13 km of internal alleys were repaired in 18 partnerships; 120.8 km of power lines in 43 partnerships; 43.6 km of water supply.
Thanks to the republican support received and the work of the chairmen of the partnerships over the past three years, the number of developed plots has increased by about 5.5% or about 19 thousand plots.
The Minister added that the repair of external and internal objects of horticultural and vegetable garden non-profit partnerships in 2020 will continue.
Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that supporting gardening associations is one of the most important tasks. “This is a subsidiary farm of many Tatarstan people. At their site, they grow agricultural products, provide themselves with products. No matter how hard it may be, but this direction needs to be supported”, said the President of Tatarstan.
Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that earlier the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan was instructed to consider the issue of permits for the sale of seeds and seedlings.
