The sowing campaign in the Republic of Tatarstan is nearing completion. Spring crops have been sown on 1,611,000 hectares, or 94% of the planned area. This data was presented today at the traditional Saturday meeting in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Dmitry Yashin.

Today, a delegation from Tatarstan, led by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the final board meeting of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.

The first interregional conference of agro-technology class supervisors and mentors was held at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Today, the All-Russian Agro-Dictation was held for the second time at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. Over 200 people participated in the main regional venue, the Palace of Farmers.

The live broadcast of the final meeting of the Board of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture has begun. The meeting will review the agency's work in 2025 and outline strategic objectives for the current year.

Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov, as part of a delegation from the Republic of Tatarstan, paid a working visit to the Republic of Belarus. The program included a visit to the Brest Hero Fortress Memorial Complex and a wreath-laying ceremony at the grave of Pyotr Gavrilov, a Hero of the Soviet Union and participant in the defense of the Brest Fortress, a native of the Kazan Governorate. A meeting was also held with Pyotr Parkhomchik, Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, following which a cooperation action plan was signed between the Republic of Tatarstan and the Brest Region.

The Federal Field Day on Forage Production will be held on June 3-4 at Kamsky Bacon LLC in the Menzelinsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan. Leading scientists and practitioners, investors, agricultural enterprise managers, and technologists from across Russia and abroad—the United States, Spain, Italy, Austria, Denmark, and France—will gather.

Today, a zonal seminar and meeting on increasing rural business activity was held in the Arsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan. Acting Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, Deputy Minister Gelyus Bayazitov, Chairman of the Council of the Association of Local Governments of the Republic of Tatarstan Ekzam Gubaydullin, and State Council deputies Albert Khabibullin, Azat Khamayev, and Nazip Khazipov attended.

Today, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov held a meeting via videoconference with heads of municipal districts and heads of the Tatarstan Department of Agriculture and Food, as well as agroholdings.

Forage harvesting has begun in the Aznakayevo, Muslyumovsky, Nurlatsky, and Aktanyshsky municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan. A total of over 620 hectares of perennial grasses and winter crops have been mown, with 2,326 tons of silage and 150 tons of hay harvested.
