Today, a delegation from Tatarstan, led by Marat Zyabbarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the final board meeting of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev, in his speech, summarized the ministry's work in 2025 and outlined plans for the future.
"We achieved the third-largest grain harvest in the country's history. Raw milk production has increased, ensuring stable production of finished products. The fisheries sector operated normally. Thus, by the end of 2025, the domestic market was fully supplied with all food products," the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized.
Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut presented the agricultural sector's performance in 2025 and future objectives at the final meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture Board.
"Livestock production remains stable, with aquatic bioresource harvesting reaching 4.7 million tons. Food production has fully met the domestic market's needs," noted Oksana Lut.
According to the Minister of Agriculture, exports have nearly tripled over the past decade, reaching $41.6 billion last year. In physical terms, shipments exceeded 83 million tons, allowing Russia to maintain its position among the world's top five food exporters," she said.
"We face many ambitious tasks ahead, and we are confident that together, with the support of the President and the Government, we will overcome all challenges and continue to develop the industry we love and are proud of. Working in the agricultural sector is one of the most noble and meaningful professions." "Our shared goal is to ensure that farmers can continue to successfully pursue their passion, live and work in comfortable conditions, and lead our agro-industrial complex into the future," emphasized Oksana Lut.
At the conclusion of the event, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev presented certificates of gratitude from the Government of the Russian Federation to Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Zyabbarov and Deputy Minister Dmitry Yashin for their achievements and long-term dedicated work.
For his services to the agro-industrial complex, active community service, and many years of fruitful work, Danil Mingaleev, Director of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Federal Center for Toxicological, Radiation, and Biological Safety" of the Republic of Tatarstan, was awarded a departmental award and the title of "Honored Worker of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Russia."
