Analysis of agriculture

Within the framework of the state program of agricultural development, the federal agricultural department carries out statistical analysis of the state of cattle breeding in Russia.

The data received for the 1st quarter of the current year, concerning the republic of Tatarstan, show that cattle breeding consists of beef cattle breeding, dairy cattle breeding, pig farming and poultry breeding. The republic takes the 2nd place in the country in cattle and poultry production for slaughter, the 1st place in milk production and the 13th place in eggs production.

A working trip of the minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Nikolai Fedorov to the Republic of Tatarstan is planned for July 10.

The minister will be accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov.
