The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Republic of Tatarstan in its heading - “Labor People” writes not about famous personalities, but about real workers who deserve honor and respect for their daily work, devotion to their beloved work, rich experience and high professionalism.

From 13 to 15th February the Volga agro-industrial forum and the specialized exhibition TatAgroExpo will be held in Tatarstan with participation of more than 3000 representatives of agro-industrial complex from 320 organizations and enterprises of Republic of Tatarstan and Russian regions.

The 6th February  the President of Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic - Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov visited the Leninogorsk municipal district.

Today, Rustam Minnikhanov , the President of Republic of Tatarstan and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov visited Zainsky municipal district.

Last weekend the Youth Forum was held in Alkeyevsky district of Tatarstan. The purpose of the event was to attract young professionals for employment in the area.

The 5th of February was held a meeting of the Committee on Ecology, Environmental Management, Agricultural and Food Policy and the Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the State Program for the Development of Agriculture of the State Council of Tatarstan. The parliamentarians discussed results of the implementation of the state program "Development of agriculture and regulation of markets of agricultural products, raw materials and food in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2013-2020" for 2018. Members of the Committee also supported the draft appeal of the State Council of the Republic to the Chairman of Government of Russian Federation D.A. Medvedev on the need to develop a state program for the elimination of the hogweed Sosnovsky in the country.

Today, much attention is paid to the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the countryside. Currently, in each district there are people who have started their own businesses and successfully develop them. The Khanov family is one of them.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Republic of Tatarstan reminds to commodity producers that in order to receive these funds it is necessary to document the accumulation of a crop of at least 30 kg/ ha.

This year has been declared the year of support for the development of personal subsidiary farms. There is a commission working in the region to assist farmers in obtaining government subsidies. It is designed to help rural entrepreneurs with preparing the necessary documents, to provide legal assistance.

 “Last year, the amount of grant support for small and medium-sized businesses in rural areas increased significantly to 878 million rubles in the republic. This is 353 million rubles, or 67.2% more than in 2017, ” said Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Habipov.
