At KazanSummit 2019 the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan signed a cooperation agreement with a foreign investor
Today, on April 25, in the framework of the Russia-Islamic World: KazanSummit 2019 international economic summit, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov signed a cooperation agreement with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Duwaya Investment LLC .
The agreement was the result of a business meeting of a delegation from the United Arab Emirates headed by Abdulhamid Mohammed Duvaya with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, held at the Ministry this week.
The parties highly appreciate the role of mutually beneficial economic cooperation in the part of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan for the subsequent export of agricultural products, and confirmed their mutual interest in the supply of goods to the United Arab Emirates, the countries of the Persian Gulf, the countries of the Middle East, North Africa and China.
The agreement defines the mutual intentions of the parties aimed at the development of all forms of project implementation activities, including using the public-private partnership mechanism, providing for further mutually beneficial cooperation in the implementation of projects in agriculture, logistics, construction, industry and the social sphere, as well as creation and development of infrastructure in the implementation of projects.
In accordance with the agreement, Duwaya Investment L.L.C intends to invest funds in the development and construction of the infrastructure of the agro-industrial complex in the Republic of Tatarstan.
