Today, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan held a meeting of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision of the Russian Federation on the basis of the activities of the service for the first half of 2019.

 

On June 26, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation Maxim Uvaydov visited Kazan State Agrarian University and Kazan State Academy of Veterinary Medicine named after N.E. Bauman, where he met with the leadership of universities, representatives of the workforce and students. He was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Oleg Zemskov, the rector of the KSAU Ayrat Valiev, the vice-rector for educational work of the Veterinary Academy Ali Volkov and other officials.

Field work in the regions of the republic is under special control of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Behind the figures of daily operational reports there are originality and uniqueness of each region of Tatarstan and, most importantly, the work of thousands of people.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan every week writes about people who live in the countryside and have found their vocation in a simple, but necessary and important work. One of them is Tatyana Portnova, a mother of three children, working as a milkmaid on the Bagaevskaya farm of the Zolotaya Niva agricultural firm in Kaybitsky district.

On June 25, Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree, according to which the list of professions of rural workers eligible for a pension supplement of 25% was expanded. The document is published on the official Internet portal of legal information and has already entered into force.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan informs that MGIMO continues to accept people for the master's program “World Agrarian Markets” of the department of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia “International Agrarian Markets and Foreign Economic Activity in the Agro-Industrial Complex”.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Tatarstan pays great attention to the development of small forms of business. To bring information about the existing measures of state support and stimulate business activity in the countryside, there are various events being held: training seminars, practical exercises, competitions, etc.

On June 25, the Republic of Tatarstan for the first time crossed the mark of 4,000 tons for milk production per day. The Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Nazip Hazipov announced this today at a working meeting with the agricultural departments of the districts.

The development of the dairy industry is a priority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Tatarstan is confidently leading among the regions of Russia in terms of milk sales.
